Take Aim Gun Range

I wanted my son to have a great range experience during our Florida vacation, and we came across this range after reading all the great reviews. We decided to book a lesson with an instructor along with some range time — and it was absolutely worth it. Mike was amazing! He made us feel comfortable right away, explained everything clearly, and shared great shooting techniques that really improved our confidence. My son and I loved the experience. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Florida!

Today I had THE BEST experience at Take Aim! Taking a lesson was my birthday experience gifted to me. It was a complete surprise, but it has been a bucket list item (to learn about gun safety and how to properly shoot a gun). Our instructor was Mike D. He was warm and knowledgeable. He took the fear out of the experience by educating me on the proper use of a firearm. Throughout the lesson Mike provided great support. He truly made the experience safe, fun, and a great learning opportunity. I hope to return in the future for additional lessons.

I can’t say enough great things about Take Aim Gun Range and Mike D. The range itself is clean, well-run, and extremely professional. Everything from check-in to time on the range feels efficient, safe, and welcoming whether you’re a first-time shooter or very experienced. Mike is truly top-notch. He’s knowledgeable, calm, and an outstanding instructor who explains things clearly and calmly. You can tell he genuinely cares about safety, confidence, and making sure every student walks away better than they arrived. I took the CCW class here and it was excellent. Well structured, informative, and practical, with real-world insight rather than just checking a box. Pricing across the board is very fair, especially considering the quality of instruction and overall experience. If you’re looking for a gun range with great prices, high standards, and an instructor you can trust, Take Aim Gun Range is the place. Highly recommend.
