Spark by Hilton Fishkill

The tub actually had paint peelings. I had to get the plunger because the toilet wouldn’t go down. The room was clean overall the front desk was definitely not trained properly. They wanted to charge me for my service Dog I’ve been a Hilton member for many years I’ve never experienced anything like this, and then when I checked out early because of the issues, the front desk girl told me she couldn’t resell my room because there was no one to clean it what does that have to do with me? The coffee was horrible Like a cheaper place for the same price of any of the other Hiltons

I agree with another poster that the hotel itself is dated. The rooms were modest, clean and comfortable. I came upstairs to my room at 3 PM (Check in time) and one of the housekeepers wasn't very happy. She snapped, "The room isn’t ready! I don't know why they send them up when the room isn't ready." (it was just a matter of putting in the towels - not a big deal). I was uncomfortable being "greeted" that way. It advertises that there's a microwave in the room; however, there is not. You have to take your food all the way down to the lobby to heat it up, and by the time you get back to your room, your food is no longer hot. Very convenient location, I-84 is just down the street. Overall, I think it was overpriced, especially since it lacks a microwave in the room, no conditioner, and only a couple of channels to watch on the TV - unless you want to pay extra. I'm a little disappointed for it being a Hilton brand. It's alright in a pinch.

This is my 3rd time staying here. Yes, like the other reviews say, the building itself and the elevator are old. And, this is a basic hotel. Breakfast is limited. But, that's exactly what it says it is on their website. The rooms are updated and very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Each room has a large TV and you can connect your streaming accounts. I overall enjoy my stay here.
