Salvatore's Italian Grill

First time at their other location. Food was good, not the perfect prime rib, but pretty good. Husband loved lasagna, the rolls and pizza bread are excellent, also salad. Carrot cake yummy. Odd building, don't know what is was before. Definitely recommend this location or the Howland one for a good meal and service!

Salvatore's is a solid choice for Italian food in the Mahoning Valley. My favorite thing to order is Sacchetoni in blush sauce, though note that it is not listed on the menu - you need to know to ask for it! The salmon was good, fresh from Norway. The appetizer pizza bread, which is something I normally love there, was unfortunately a bit stale / dry; it seemed like it may have been reheated. Atmosphere-wise, even though the lights and snowflakes were super festive, I found their flashing a little distracting / disturbing my ability to focus on the meal with family.

Never a disappointment. Always a helpful and friendly staff and we have yet to have had a bad meal. My usual is the Pescatore Pizza, which is always outstanding (but on a rare occasion just a wee but salty). Think a white, seafood pizza without all the crap, lol. Mmmmmmm, absolute heaven! I will say, we never go to ANY other locale but Austintown. Niles and Boardman are OK and fairly comparable but the service and food quality (think "how much love is put in the food"), in our opinion, is far better at the Austintown locale. I miss our old servers though.
