PPG Paints Arena

Took my boys to their first concert here. It was the Dance kid dance tour for Shinedown with guests Bush & Morgan Wade. First off the whole experience was great! I'll start with the venue, it was a quick entry when the door opened. We had no issues ( tickets were scanned from your phone) they do have a strict bag policy. I brought a belt bag but hot scared i wouldn't be able to bring it in so i left it in the car. I did have a phone wallet and clipped my car keys onto my belt loop of my shorts. The staff was nice and helpful. It was really clean and well conditioned. We had really good seats and they were comfortable when we were sitting. I did buy nachos and 3 drinks, the food was good but quite expensive. The restrooms were nice and clean as well. Now the show, it was Amazing! There was fire/ fireworks, Light shows and fog which were awesome and the sound was great! Everything was nice and clear but not too loud. I definitely recommend this place to see a concert or game.

Incredible facilities. Some of the food options were slightly hit and miss with some things being good/some inedible. Overall an absolutely incredible experience for me and a couple of my boys that drove down from Canada to watch our fellow goalie Marc Andre Fleury play in his last game as a penguin. Amazing arena. Will absolutely come back!

We got fancy and had GA floor standing room and the amenities down there were awesome and convenient. Plenty of bathrooms, lol. The only thing was we couldn’t figure out how to get down to the floor. It’s super possible that we just missed signs, so if so, then I profusely apologize for taking away a star. We had to get 3 people to help us, but we had cocktails so it was a nice walk. 😂. Speaking of walking… this spot is walkable to the hotel we stayed at : Kimpton Monaco so NO surge pricing for Lyfts or Ubers, or waiting in line for one while your buzz goes from happy to hangry, which rocked! See my other review for the hotel. Loved it all.
