Holiday Inn Express Poughkeepsie by IHG

Wasn't sure what to expect because of very mixed reviews but the beds were comfortable, I slept really well without noise or any issues. Our 4th floor hallway smelled nice like laundry so I'm not at what floors were effected by the smells in other comments. Breakfast was good both days and staff was nice. The toilets are oddly close to the shower though and the shower was inconvenient where you had to turn it on from a weird angle and get soaked before you're in the shower. Other than that all was fine.

Wonderful Family Stay – Highly Recommended!! We had a fantastic stay as a family. The rooms are clean and spacious, beds are comfortable, and Breakfast offered plenty of choices that kept everyone happy. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Great location with lots of nearby restaurants and shopping. We felt safe and relaxed the entire time.

Had a great stop at Holiday Inn Express Poughkeepsie during my trip from Albany to NYC! The hotel was clean, quiet, and very comfortable after a long drive. The staff was welcoming and check-in was quick and easy. The room was spotless, beds were cozy, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus before getting back on the road. Perfect location with easy access and plenty of parking. Definitely a great place to relax and recharge while traveling through New York. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
