Hampton Inn by Hilton Youngstown-West I-80

Very impressed. Lobby was clean and inviting. They have fresh complimentary coffee and cookies. Even juice for the children. Rooms are immaculately clean. Full size shampoo, body wash & conditioner. Rooms let you sign into your programs and the have apple t.v. for free to watch shows on too. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very updated decor and fresh feeling through out. Will definitely stay here again.

7/19/25 We stayed one night at Hampton Inn by Hilton Youngstown-West I-80 as this was about half-way point between NYC and Chicago. It was just a rest stop for us. This hotel was clean and quiet. There were several restaurants around the hotel in walking distance. We had room 301, which was at the far end of the building. Oddly the main entrance is at 1 end of the building, most hotel is in the middleish. If you have issues walking, I suggest asking for a room closer to the elevator. Our king room was huge! It felt like there was a missed opportunity as this would have been a spacious double queen room. Bathroom was at the far end of the room, which was only a little problematic when you really have to go! LOL The coat hangar on the wall is genius for rainy days or even colder weather. The only thing that puzzled us was the lack of dresser/drawer space... Microwave in the middle, fridge on the left, what is that door on the right? We opened it and it was 3 baskets. Was this our dresser/drawer space? Odd... But since we were only staying 1 night we didn't need to use this... Pool but no hot tub, tiny gym, and 1 computer and printer in the business center. Breakfast was included and it was standard hotel fare. We would definitely stay here again, if we do another long road trip.

Looks like the staff were not aware of the front desk timings. I called them informing about my late check-in and I was informed that I need to be there before 1 am, post which no one would be available at the front desk. The breakfast was ok for the price. Nothing great about it. The rooms need a lot of work. With smaller window size, felt claustrophobic with limited lighting inside the room. If the property management is reading this, I would suggest you work on installation for additional lights in the room.
