Fairfield Inn & Suites

When my husband I first pulled up to this property on Friday, May 22, 2026 I was pretty skeptical. It was obvious that true hotel was in the middle of a renovations and I had my doubts about whether we’d hear a lot of noise and if the overall property was in decent shape. I am happy to report that upon entering we were greeted enthusiastically by the gal at the front desk. The lobby was very clean and inviting, but you can tell it was dated. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it ended up being a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was wonderful and we had the privilege of being in the elevator with the property manager who was very friendly and ensured us that she was doing everything she could to keep the guests away from the renovation noise and dust. I appreciated that. I would recommend staying here and look forward to seeing it in its new state.

The staff at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Youngstown / Austintown truly set this property apart. Everyone is warm, welcoming, and consistently accommodating, making our stay comfortable from start to finish. Sue deserves special recognition for the wonderful complimentary breakfast. She prepares a varied and delicious selection each morning. Everything is fresh, and she keeps both the buffet and dining area impeccably clean. The rooms are also very clean and thoughtfully equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, as well as a microwave and small refrigerator. The mattresses are exceptionally comfortable, allowing for a great night’s sleep. We highly recommend a stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Youngstown / Austintown for business or pleasure. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Boy, this is difficult. There was a large group partying in the hall the first night until 1 am and they didn't shut it down but the manager did comp. our room so that was nice. We had a fire alarm go off the next morning before 6:30am. Breakfast was good, free Continental. The room (suite) was starting to seem warm and needed a deep clean. Hot water is hard to come by during busy shower times. If you are short or handicapped the beds are extremely high. But all that being said the staff was very nice and the room was clean, just showing wear.
