Dee Jay's BBQ Ribs & Grille - Racetrack Rd

My unannounced party of seven showed up here, we were trying for a different restaurant, but their lot was completely full. Luckily Dee Jay's was ready for us👍. Awesome appetizers😋see photos. Our food was very good, nicely sized portions for the price. My horseradish bacon burger was good, but lacking in the tangy heat of horseradish😟. Fish sandwich was massive and ribs were juicy and tender. House made coleslaw is delicious. Plenty of parking, handicapped accessible and Easy in and Easy out onto Racetrack road or up to Casino 🎰. I would recommend giving this place a try upon your next Casino or foodie outing👍😃

We tried DeeJay’s brunch and were very impressed. The brisket bowl was filled with brisket and we really liked the potatoes. My breakfast burger was cooked perfectly. The bayou was a feast! Finally, the mimosa flight was nicely presented and the drinks were great. Friendly service added to the experience.

Atmosphere- 4 stars- located in the vicinity of the Meadows Casino this is a great place to take a break from the games or shopping at the Outlets if you want a good meal in a clean bright rib joint. Nice size area with a full bar- several TVs to watch a sporting event. Service- 5 stars- our server was Chris- super friendly and attentive. The manager I would assume came by to check on us a few times. They care about their business. Food- 4 stars- Had the best fried pickles here to start our meal. Golden fired batter and tangy pickle spears. Highly recommend these. I had the Rib and Pulled chicken combo with a side of coleslaw and jalapeño mac and cheese. Ribs were cooked perfectly and were tender. Pulled chicken was good also. They are already sauced covered but they bring extra bottle of sauce if needed. We also had the Ribs and Pork Combo with Sidewinder fries. Pulled pork was our favorite of the meats. The sidewinder fries were awesome. Definitely recommend coming here and getting the meat sweats lol.
