This is about a 10 min drive to town. Located in a quiet area as well. When we stayed they were currently having construction done, but did alert us before hand with clear communication. Our room was a spacious and comfortable. The pull out couch was a little bit on the firmer side but didn't bother me and was comfortable. The main beds were a bit stiff but not terrible. It also included a mini fridge and microwave with complimentary coffee in the room.

Clean, enormous rooms (at least mine was?). Super friendly staff. And for those who like to get staked on the road, the gym is actually really good! Dont bother with the prepaid breaky though. Starbucks coffee was a bonus!

I would have given a 5 star rating and wish that I could, because this would have been a pretty ideal hotel stay - the hotel was easy to find and conveniently located, staff were genuinely friendly, and the room was clean and spacious, with a comfy bed and decent desk to work at. It even had a functioning balcony! Not something you get at most hotels. HOWEVER, the hotel started a construction project during my stay. Of course I understand they can't fully shut down for renovations, so the issue is less the construction itself, and more the fact that I paid full price for a stay that was heavily impacted by it. Without having any idea what I signed up for. After getting in late my first night, I woke up to loud construction noise around 8am, which also happened after my second night. After the project started, there were sections of the parking lot that couldn't be used, but not a single sign anywhere to help guests figure out where was okay to park. The front entrance was no longer accessible, so you had to come in a side door, where, again, there were no signs to direct you to the elevators or anything among the sea of taped up plastic and loud noise. Front desk inaccessible, restaurant/bar inaccessible. Sounds from heavy machinery right outside the building throughout the day. The side door entrance, which usually required a room card to enter, was left unlocked and unmonitored... at least when a front entrance is unlocked, you still have someone at the desk seeing who comes in and out, but anyone could have slipped in this side door without being noticed. Not ideal. When I made this reservation, I was deciding between this hotel and a similarly-priced different place nearby, and apparently I chose wrong. Very frustrating to feel like I could have paid the same price for a much more peaceful and normal stay. I assume this individual hotel doesn't have much control over nightly rates, since they're probably set by Marriott, so I hate to give a bad rating for the specific location. But the construction was such an egregious inconvenience during my stay. There really should be a way to offer a warning before booking, OR a reduced rate, if someone selects dates that overlap with planned renovations.
